CANDY ROCK:

Light, airy, white with accents of mouth-watering pastels dominated the Catwalks for Spring Summer 2010.

The intricate floral cutwork in leather and chiffon at Jasper Conran was a highlight of London Fashion Week, the entire collection in subtle shades of white, nude and the palest pink.

Luella featured pastels, bows and cutout hearts for ultimate girl appeal, with layers of candy box chiffons and embroideries at Christopher Kane and Dior.

Burberry Prorsum showed a delectable array of textures and drapes in muted hues to evoke those hazy summers day feelings, along with pastel dyed denims at Hilfiger and Levis, for those casual days at the seaside.

SWALLOWS & AMAZONS

From the luxurious layers, ruffles and textures on the catwalk from Charles Anastase, to the ever prevalent Breton stripes at Clements Ribeiro and frostfrench. This trend combines layered mismatched pieces of luxe and denim with classic nautical tailoring and gothic leather.

Mixing denim and colourful cottons at Twenty8Twelve gave an effortlessly cool London edge to this trend, with the eighties favourite 'Double Denim' making a come back at American stalwart Ralph Lauren.

Westwood continues the trend for pirate inspired asymmetric and drapery; with crinolines and suspenders thrown into the mix for the more flamboyant girl.  With luscious layers from Reem giving the goth rock edge to stop the trend getting too girly.
