While You’re in our ‘Hood…
What with the crammed catwalk schedule, designer talks, demos and awesome shopping, we’re pretty sure that you won’t be stuck for things to do when you visit Vodafone London Fashion Weekend. But if you do fancy exploring the local area, here are some local tips….
The Delaunay
Top hatted doormen, old school elegance and lashings of Art Deco style make The Delaunay’s grand café the perfect place to take afternoon tea.

Time: Tattoo Art Today
Not only is Somerset House home to Vodafone London Fashion Weekend and London Fashion Week, it also hosts an exciting art programme not to mention the world renowned Courtauld Institute. Time: Tattoo Art Today is an inspiring exhibition that features original artworks from 70 of the world’s most influential ink artists including Ed Hardy, Horiyoshi III, Paul Booth and Mister Cartoon. A definite must-see if you’re contemplating some new body art.

Balthazar
Restaurants don’t get much starrier than this Manhattan interpretation of a classic (and thoroughly delicious) French brasserie. Put it this way, last time we visited Robert De Niro was sitting on the next table. No kidding.

Situated in the East Wing, right by Contemporary and Outerwear, it is the perfect place to peruse Rizzoli’s outstanding selection of art, design and fashion titles.
