Alicia Roddy - Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

I’ve chosen Ashley & Mary-Kate Olsen as my favourite designers of the brand The Row. I’ve followed the brand for a while and each collection has me wanting it all. They seem to introduce a masculine feel to all their pieces while still making them look elegant and classic. Their Fall 2015 collection shows a lot of floor length trousers and long line coats which I love as many high street stores also seem to be stocking these for AW15 so I can try and get a similar look more affordably. I like that the fall collection features mainly black, white and neutral tones as it keeps it simple and are the kind of colours I go for when choosing clothes. The Row appears to stick to this colour palette throughout each collection which is why I have chosen Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen as my favourite designers as the pieces are always so different but stick to a similar style base in terms of fit and colour palette.  What I also love about The Row’s Fall 2015 collection is that a lot of pieces are co-ordinates, the coat will match the trousers or the skirt, everything seems to have a piece to match with to create a full staple outfit. I like the way they create a lot of items to have an oversized boxy fit, as it’s a comfortable and easy style to wear day to day.
