Andrea McCaul – Fyodor Golan
Fyodor Podgorny and Golan Frydman more than welcomed vibrant hues into their Autumn/Winter 15 collection, and I don’t think many of us will be complaining. The first thing you can’t help but notice is the combination of classic black, dark green and burgundy winter colours with bright pinks, purples and greens, making this a collection like no other this season from the get go.
The collaboration with a childhood favourite ‘My Little Pony’ distinctly influenced the colour scheme, structure and motifs used throughout. I can’t think of a better way to usher in the colder seasons than with this magical collection. The sports luxe trend sunk its way in – well riding your pony is a sport of course – with the classic puffa and baseball jersey redesigned into glimmering statement dresses. As well as this, a military touch is seen with their in jumpsuit designs, using bold palettes, oversized pockets and belted waists. Sequins, florals, and patent finishes are all strong contributing features to
	this truly unique range.
When compared to their SS15 collection this season becomes a continuation with the stand out colour palette and prints. Both Fyodor and Golan are well known for combining lean geometrical shapes and a sportswear aesthetics, a clear theme which is carried through all their collections with ease. The Fyodor Golan catwalk always takes you somewhere you never expect. This certainly is not an Autumn/Winter collection anyone saw coming, however maybe it’s time we did!
