Official AW14 Blogger – The Trend Shows
Vodafone London Fashion Weekend began on Thursday with the prestigious trend show, styled but THE OUTNET.COM. It featured four trends that are going to be big this AW14, and if you were lucky enough to see it you’ll know just how different each trend was!

One and Only
First up we had the ‘One and Only’ trend, a nod to being confident with colour in head-to-toe looks in the same shade. Kind of like falling in love with a colour and never being disloyal to it! THE OUTNET.COM displayed some truly brilliant styled outfits, including two lovely trouser/jumper combinations that I loved and a wonderful oversized blue cardigan that would look fab teamed with skinnies or a skirt for the hotter weather. What would be your ‘one and only’ colour choice?

Candy Crush
This trend is possibly one of my favourites as I have been partial to a bit of baby blue (ok alot of baby blue) in the past few months. I was so happy my favourite colour choice was strutting its stuff on the catwalk and was seriously crushing on this trend. Pastel shades for AW may seem a little odd but THE OUTNET.COM worked runway style like nothing else. Structured silhouettes with sharp tailoring was a focus, with every outfit styled to hit this trend bang on target. I particularly loved the mint and peach jumper-and-trouser combination – so elegant! The ruffled white and pink dress was also a winner, although I’m not sure I could wear that to work anytime soon!

Jungle Fever
A tropical storm was unleashed on THE OUTNET.COM catwalk at Vodafone London Fashion Weekend. Unleash your inner animal with leopard prints, earthy tones and textural complexity. There was fluff and leather, chiffon and metallic in this crazy wilderness themed catwalk. Shiny and sexy or floaty and flirty, there was a style for everyone and if you don’t feel like rocking an all-out leather look, take inspiration from accessories and heighten your outfit’s sass with a bright shoe or printed clutch! Taking the animal world to a whole new extreme, if you’ve ever wanted to experiment then this is the trend for you. We loved the leather-on-leather combination and the colours were bold and brave – cue crazy animalistic vibes this AW!

Fairytale Ending
Feel like a princess with this nod towards your favourite classics, remember Valentinos’ fanciful cape or Dolce and Gabbana’s opulent red fur hood? This AW fairytales come to life and breath storytelling greatness into floaty fabrics and embellishment, a mix of sheer fabrics and rich tones – ethereal enchantment at it’s best. THE OUTNET.COM’s take on this delicate trend showed elemnts of leather for a tougher edge and shorter pieces for wearable practicality. This trend is all about fascination, charm and magic: bringing the pages of your favourite fairytales to life with sophisticated and feminine displays of interpretation. We’ll be grabbing ourselves one of those capes asap!
