Official SS14 Blogger – Farhi by Nicole Farhi

The second designer catwalk show I was lucky enough to see was Farhi by Nicole Farhi, an exclusive preview of her AW14 collection. The designer has established a brand recognisable for its laid back designs and understated elegant knitwear, outerwear, tailoring and separates. Luxurious and accessible, I was excited to see what Farhi had come up with next. The garments were beautifully tailored and oozed a classic sophistication. I couldn't think of anything better than to be wrapped up in one of the gorgeous deep green coats this winter, considering the weather lately I had better invest in a few! There was a lot of green, a lot of quality knitwear and a lot of fur. When I say a lot of fur I mean fur scarves and... wait for it... fur shoes! This was definitely one of the highlights for me as the boots were so different and looked so stylish and tasteful next to the garments. I'm not sure if I could ever pull off a pair of fur ankle boots but I really wish I could because they were amazing! Definitely style statement to watch this Autumn/Winter!
