Fyodor Golan, the dynamic, design duo are living testament that “opposites attract”. Otherwise known as Fyodor Podgorny and Golan Frydman, they were both educated in Fine Art before they embarked into fashion design. Acknowledging and cherishing their differences, they describe their fashion ethos as “Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde”. They launched FYODOR GOLAN in 2010 and debuted their AW11 ‘Pagan Poetry’ collection at Vauxhall Fashion Scout. Since then, their collections have continued to overwhelm audiences around the globe.
	Fantastically imaginative, they consistently push boundaries when designing their womenswear collections which are not just modern but futuristically wearable. The proof is surely in the wearability of season’s bygone including the ‘Holy Mountain’ collection. 
	90’s rave cultures influenced the colours and textures in this SS15 collection which celebrating digital Romanticism. Models ascending in playful, adolescent aesthetics and rainbow colour combinations that created striking, psychedelic looks as the distinctive textiles and 3-D embroideries were resurrected though new technology and fabric manipulation. 
	
	
	Satin intricately woven with plastic threads featured printed distorted images of flowers and American footballers while silicone finished and slashed geometric fabrics permitted fluid movements of the designs. Silhouettes embellished with iridescent and neon floral motifs were particularly admired by the audience.
	The floral appliqué dress was a particular highlight piece in the collection. Overall, it was an outstanding catwalk show that celebrating romanticism in this digital era through construction of modern ready-to-wear pieces free from restraint.
