After two weeks of intensive prepping and call ins from 33 designers,
the team set to work in a studio in N1 surrounded by hundreds of bags, shoes, hats, gloves, tights, necklaces, bracelets, rings, sunglasses, butterflies not to mention Ruby the Chihuahua and Frank the Rabbit. Here’s what happened on the Vodafone London Fashion Weekend SS13 shoot…

CALL TIME:

0830

THE LOOK:

Light, floaty and fresh. Stylist, Hilary Alexander incorporated the 2 key colour stories for SS13: Punchy Pastels and Accent Brights to give our SS13 shoot an Alice in Wonderland feel

GETTING IN THE MOOD:

The team got into the mood by snacking on hot crossed buns and Molly Bakes cupcakes (once they’d been shot, obvs)

STAR GUESTS:

Ruby the Chihuahua and Frank the Rabbit

YOU WON’T BELIEVE:

The bird’s nest came from stylist assistant,
Lucy’s garden at home. Found that morning!

THE HIGHS:

Frank the Rabbit – a star in the making
– and photographer, Laurie’s, delicious homemade soup.

THE LOWS:

“We were disappointed not to be able to get the J W Anderson pieces we wanted. They were already out on shoot. The Dents gloves got delayed but finally made it.”
