VV Vintage allows customers to participate and purchase across a number of alternative platforms outside of the shop. VV Vintage has joined with the charity Oxfam to create the DWO ( Design With Oxfam ) program. The DWO program is a place where designers can up cycle second hand pieces and sell them through the online store with freedom to do what they want. The aim is to build a huge collective of creatives who turn old items into new pieces that promote the idea of sustainability. 10 per cent of the retail profit goes to the Oxfam charity. DWO launches in April.
DWO designers will be constantly changing allowing site users an ever-evolving window into the scope and variety of creativity within the field of sustainable and ethical fashion.
VVVintage will be launching its very first sustainable collection in stores created by designer Mary Benson with a range of luxury sportswear embellished with vinyl through luxury sportswear. Alongside VVVintage's ethos of one off vintage pieces this is an opportunity for the brand to grow and spread the idea of sustainability through an actual conceptual collection.
