PRINGLE OF SCOTLAND
Pringle of Scotland is the iconic brand founded in 1815 in Hawick, Scotland, the birthplace of the Scottish knitwear industry. Pringle has been a favourite of the stars of stage and screen since the 1950’s, with the original ‘sweater girls’; Grace Kelly, Brigitte Bardot and Margot Fonteyn all wearing the brand’s iconic twinsets.
Today, the brand's founding principles of innovation and quality are as important as ever, and the iconic argyle pattern and twinset designs are still key features in the Collections, but have been explored and developed for a modern wardrobe.
Knitwear is always a starting point for the Collections, but experimentation with new techniques and yarns, as well as the combining of knitwear with woven fabrics to exciting effect makes for fresh and modern designs. The brand’s Seasonal Collections are shown to press and VIPs every season during London Fashion Week.
