Company Profile
Designed and created by London based husband and wife team Avigail and Damian Collins. The two are renowned for styling some of the biggest names in the music industry. After years of creative and styling work they now also fill a niche in the industry for head-turning street-inspired accessories and more. Whether attached to a beanie or crystal-dotted headband, these mysterious mesh veil coverings have been spotted more times in Rihanna’s heaving wardrobe than any other item.
The creative directors have been developing this luxury collection of glamorised staples for the past few seasons now: first came a range of beanies, bucket hats, shaggy monogolian lambswool bags, slogan t-shirts, headbands and chokers. Now the range has expanded into 100% Cashmere manufactured in Scotland. Throw in the jewelled chokers and espadrille collaboration with Penelope Chilvers and it’s safe to say these two have the statement add-on market sussed. The beanies – which are now classed as an SSA classic – hit hardest first, with cameo and bandana versions, plus these veiled numbers finding the heads of Rihanna, Jourdan Dunn, Diana Agron, Ellie Goulding, Daisy Lowe, Lorde and more.
Take one look at their instagram feed [@silverspoonattire] and you’ll soon notice that it’s not just the rich and famous falling over themselves to get a slice of the action. From Japan to Canada, fashion followers have picked up on the pair’s credible creations – and it’s no wonder, they make for the most brilliant instafashion snaps going.
