Tatty Devine
Company Profile
Tatty Devine is an independent British company designing and making original, playful jewellery by hand in their London and Kent studios. Their standout designs are all about expressing yourself in a fun and distinctive way.
Harriet Vine and Rosie Wolfenden founded Tatty Devine in 1999 and continue to run the company from a studio in London’s East End, where it all started.
Harriet and Rosie first met on Chelsea School of Art's Fine Art degree course. After discovering some bags of leather samples on the street one night, they made leather wrist cuffs to sell on London's markets. Soon, they were selling out every week at Portobello and Spitalfields. Vogue shot their very first collection for the Millennium issue, and with lots of hard work, luck and fun, Tatty Devine grew to where it is today.
Tatty Devine jewellery blurs the boundaries between art, fashion and culture. The brand is synonymous with Perspex jewellery, but you'll also discover pieces made from fabric, wood, leather, veneer, enamel, gold, rose gold and sterling silver. Progressive and experimental, Tatty Devine is always developing new production techniques to push their jewellery designs forward.
Tatty Devine loves to collaborate with other creative people, especially those in the worlds of art, music and fashion. Over the past fifteen years, Rosie and Harriet have teamed up with fashion designers including Eley Kishimoto, Peter Jensen, Kit Neale and Ashish, British artists including Rob Ryan and Gilbert & George, and designed exclusive pieces for Barbican, Tate, the Victoria & Albert Museum and Selfridges.
In 2013 Harriet and Rosie were awarded MBEs for services to the fashion industry and Tatty Devine won UKFT Accessories Business of the Year.
