Made on an Oxford last, each pair of MULOs is crafted by hand using premium materials. Gone is the rope sole, instead there is a leather footbed with cushioned arch support. The linen braid trim is a nod to the simple elegance of the espadrille. The textured rubber-crepe soles add traction with every step, making the slip-on ideal for both sandy beaches and city streets.

MULO launched in high-end retailers as a mens shoe and reacting to popular demand extended the line to include womens. The collection is stocked in selective retailers worldwide including Harvey Nichols, YOOX Net-a-Porter Group and Barneys New York.

In 2015 MULO was selected by Walpole, the British luxury trade body, as a ‘Brand of Tomorrow’. Walpole is a unique alliance of over 170 of Britain’s finest luxury brands, with companies such as Burberry, Jimmy Choo, The Savoy and Harrods among its membership. Former recipients include Orlebar Brown, Charlotte Olympia, Mr Hare and The Business of Fashion.
