Martha Ward chairs a panel of digital masterminds from the fashion industry: Pia Stanchina (former industry manager for fashion at Google), Rosanna Falconer (business director at Matthew Williamson) and John Vary (innovation manager, John Lewis). The rise of digital, and especially the mobile phone, has revolutionised the relationship between consumers and brands. Designers are no longer confined to exposure in the printed press but are able to engage with new and loyal audiences across various digital media and devices, from social media and search to in-store experiences and Virtual Reality. Having witnessed this revolution unfold, the group will discuss not just where, but how brands plan to communicate and connect with consumers moving forward.
