Sophie Williams
Sophie Williams started designing handbags in 2000. Mario Testino photographed them for Vogue's now iconic Denim edition. This led quickly to worldwide recognition, selling to Nieman Marcus country wide, Printemps in Paris and Harrods in London. The bags have appeared in Sex And The City and Damages.
The bags are known for their discreet style and lack of branding, leaving the design to make the impact. Manufacturing is entirely based in England, where they are made by hand to a very high standard. All shoulder straps are turned and stitched, strictly avoiding the use of heat melding which ensures that the bag retains its shape and beauty.
